Using Taxis and other local transport

Getting around by public transport in Andalucia and Portugal is possible, it just takes a little careful planning. It is also surprisingly inexpensive, especially compared to those used to British public transport prices; for example, one company runs a service from Faro to Seville (this route includes Ayamonte), the single fare for which is around €15.00 (approx £10) - the train fares are equally reasonable. This is mainly due to healthy competition, as there are a number of smaller companies serving their own regions.
