One of two apartments in a brand new conversion of a barn dating from 1807, combining the best of the original features with modern amenities. It is only 30 metres from the Les Chosalets ski de fond and beginners pistes, and the Ski Bus providing easy access to the other ski areas of the Chamonix area. 'There is a restaurant only two minutes from the apartment, and it is only 400 metres to the Lognan/Les Grands Montets cable car and chair lifts and a ten minute walk to the centre of Argentière. It has three double bedrooms, two of which have ensuite facilities, and will comfortably sleep up to 8 people. The modern kitchen is fully equipped, with fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, ceramic hob and dishwasher. The living area has an L-shaped sofa (which converts to a double bed), natural wood burning fire, Satellite LCD TV and a CD/DVD Player. There is also a store room with a washing machine, separate dryer and a lockable safe for the use of guests. There is a cave on the ground floor, shared with the adjacent apartment, which is perfect for the storage of skis and ski equipment. The picturesque village of Argentière sits at the end of the Glacier d'Argentière, high in the Chamonix valley. It offers a choice of skiing for beginners and experts, with skiing ranges from 1200m to over 3000 m framed by views of Western Europe's highest mountains. For non skiers the regular bus takes you to the busy town of Chamonix where there are numerous bars, shops, restaurants, swimming pool and sports facilities.
