The Fronteras region forms part of the Sierra Morena, which is one of Spain's most important wildlife habitats; among the birds you will see is the Black Vulture, one of the rarest vulture species in the world.
Arcos de la Frontera lies within the province of Cadiz, making it a base for trips to both Cadiz (possibly Europe's oldest city) and the regional capital of Sevilla.
